Today we traveled to Manege De Beuker in Oud Karspel, where the annual breeding day of the Friesian Horse Breeding Association North and South Holland was held. What a fun day! Beautiful Friesian horses, great atmosphere, fantastic weather, and good food and drinks. ☀️
Around 1:00 PM, Tanco and Zoë were able to present themselves. There were some lovely words spoken about them: Tanco fan Berltsum Tanco fan Berltsum is a 10-year-old Friesian star sport Elite stallion, descending from Epke 474 x Onne 376 and bred by Minne Schiphof. Since September 2023, he has been owned by Cayenne Stables and a fixed combination with the rider Zoë Kuintjes. Tanco is developing strongly and successfully at Prix St. Georges level and, together with rider Zoë Kuintjes, has qualified for the final of the Prix St. Georges at the Zeeland Insurances KFPS Royal Friesian Dressage Championship. His willing, reliable, and very sweet character, combined with good energy and dedication to the sport, make him a special horse in both sport and breeding.
After these beautiful words, they were officially honored, and we received beautiful flowers (Bloembinderij Vergeet mij niet from Bergen), a plaque (made by L. Kunst & Zn. from Workum) with Tanco’s name on it, and a beautiful blanket, sponsored by Van der Kroon Natuurlijk. We enjoyed ourselves and want to thank the association for the hospitality and the fun day they organized. Hopefully, we can come again next year! We will do our best to give you another reason to invite us.
