The first selection competition of the KWPN Stallion Competition with Olaf is done!

Just missed first place, grrr… Only one point difference! But we’re super proud: a fantastic score of 79.6, with the highest marks for the gaits and an 8.5 for the walk. A brilliant, well-deserved 2nd place ✨

What a location, the Peelbergen in Kronenberg! Stunning and buzzing with activity ️. The Gelderland horse was beautifully presented and well-represented during this first selection round of the stallion competition .

Olaf’s progress is undeniable . When he came to us, we knew there was work to do, and our approach is paying off ✅. He responds quickly ⚡, is incredibly willing to work , and gives it his all . Of course, after just five months, we’re not yet at full potential, but we see him improving by leaps and bounds . Every few weeks, he takes another big step forward!

Conclusion: with two more selection rounds and a final at the end of January, we’ve got plenty of time to grab that first place in the final .

We believe in it and we’re going for it! ✨

Josje, it was so much fun having you there, and thank you for your spontaneous help! See you next time!
