Robin van Lierop joins Cayenne Stables

Aalsmeer, March 18, 2025 – Dressage stable Cayenne Stables proudly welcomes internationally acclaimed rider Robin van Lierop to the team. Robin, renowned for his international achievements, will focus on training, developing, and successfully competing with talented horses of all ages and levels.

The collaboration came about through Cayenne rider Zoë Kuintjes, who, like Robin, competed successfully for many years at RS2 Dressage. Both riders also share a special connection with the successful dressage horse Cupido, previously competed by Robin and now successfully shown by Zoë. Cayenne Stables is experiencing strong growth with a clear vision: premium quality, maximum attention to horse welfare, and total dedication to dressage sport. Robin van Lierop strongly identifies with these core values, making this collaboration a natural fit. Robin’s cooperation with Cayenne Stables will start alongside his current commitments and gradually expand. He is beginning immediately with two exceptionally promising Friesian stallions:

Hardy van Cayenne Stables (Hardy fan ’e lytse Generael), a 7-year-old stallion, winner of the Talent Cup with Sport- and AAA-predicates, is being prepared for national—and hopefully international—competitions at Prix St. Georges level, aiming ultimately for the Friesian shortened stallion approval.

Macho van Cayenne Stables (Macho ût de Grachten), an impressive 5-year-old stallion with exceptional movement, presence, and character, will be trained by Robin for key events such as the IBOP test, Zeeuwse Verzekeringen KFPS Championship, and Fryso Florian Cup 2025.

Dave, owner of Cayenne Stables, explains: “We deliberately chose a gradual start. Once Robin has more time available, we’ll intensify this collaboration further. Our goal is clear: within Cayenne Stables, Robin will have every opportunity to develop horses of all levels and ages to their full potential. His experience and knowledge are a huge asset to our entire team.”

Robin van Lierop is excited about his new role: “My main motivation to join Cayenne Stables is the opportunity to fully focus on training and competing with horses, regardless of their age or current level. As an independent rider, I often lost valuable energy to distractions away from what matters most. At Cayenne Stables, there was an instant connection because of our shared vision and clear ambitions. Their structured approach perfectly matches my goals, and I’m genuinely looking forward to shaping our future together.”

Cayenne Stables takes care of all logistics, allowing Robin to focus solely on what he does best: training horses and achieving top performances.
