The call for adventure was loud and clear, and it beckoned for our beloved Frits and his skilled rider, Zoë. The road to mastery is paved with new experiences, and today was a chapter that inked Frits’ notebook in gold. We set out for Panta Reij for a training competition, a stride forward in preparation for the upcoming IBOP at the end of November.

Stepping onto new grounds always carries a mix of anticipation and nerves. While Frits’ calm demeanor is a soothing presence, the transition from the spacious arena of Horse Paradise Stables to the more compact 20-40 arena at Panta Reij posed a fresh twist to his routine. Today’s mission was simple yet critical: adapt to the new environment and excel in an M1 test.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere at Panta Reij was lively, with several combinations warming up to showcase their skills at M level. Unlike others, we chose just one test for Frits, with the focus on adaptation rather than competition. Yet, competition seems to be a second nature to our Friesian star as despite the singular challenge, Frits clinched victory – again! This victory follows his earlier triumph where he also secured the first place against a strong competition with just one test.

Today’s joy is a testimony to the relentless training and preparation undertaken alongside Zoë. At Cayenne Stables, we believe in building a bond of trust and understanding with our horses, an ethos that resonated with every gallop Frits took on the new turf.

With today’s smiles etched in our hearts, we look forward to the IBOP test at the end of November. We are confident that our big black pearl will shine again and make us proud.
