Yesterday, we traveled to Huijbergen, near the Belgian border, for the KWPN Young Dressage Talents 2025. A beautiful venue with renowned names from both Belgium and the Netherlands. A perfect moment to see where we stand in preparation for the 2025 season.
With three horses, we had an amazing day – each of them gave us incredible experiences!
The surprise of the day: Ogy from Cayenne Stables
Our lovely Ogy, a super fun mare who has only been in training with Zoë for 2 months, amazed us! With an impressive score of 81.5% in the 6-year-old category, she showed her incredible talent. This promises great things for the future!
Francis, our Westphalian promise
Francis also made us very proud. After an intense Subli season, we gave him some time to regain his full strength. Yesterday, he looked stunning again: relaxed, focused, and wonderfully cooperative. He scored just under 80%, and there’s so much potential left in this beautiful stallion. We’ll keep building step by step and enjoy his fantastic character and work ethic!
Oege, our Friesian star
Last but not least, our Oege, an impressive Friesian stallion. He performed a beautiful test and cooperated fantastically. However, we received a score of 75.8%. With all due respect to the jury, we found it a bit conservative. Oh well, we might be a little bold bringing a Friesian to a KWPN party!
A successful day!
We look back on a fantastic day with three horses that delivered wonderful performances. A day full of learning, enjoyment, and great experiences. All horses were ridden by Zoë Kuintjes, and of course, we are incredibly grateful to her for her dedication and amazing results!
